One option is to use tables, with a little twist. So if you want to add a fraction or mixed number to a slideshow presentation or a Drawing diagram, you will need to get a little creative.
Unfortunately, Google Slides and Drawings do not support add-ons yet (please Google!). Get g(Math) for Docs or g(Math) for Forms. Thankfully for Google Docs and Google Forms you can use an add-on such as g(Math) which will let you create a fraction or mixed number, and then turn that into an image that you can add to the Doc or Form. However, things become tricky when attempting to properly represent a numerator over a denominator in a program that only wants you to type from left to right. If I worked with fractions on a daily basis, I'd have to explore more thoroughly why Affinity, my fonts and pdfs are not working when it comes to fractions. Since printing works, all I have to worry about with fractions are pdfs. For me, the easier path is leaving the fonts as is. Thank you for your comments on the font issue. You may be able to work around the issue by only having the Regular installed. I do not have the Adopey commercial version of these fonts (that you have), but if the style groups are set-up the same way as the ones I have found, that may be the issue (the Medium fonts are the "Bold" in the Regular style group). Walt and I are both on Windows, so the Mac/Affinity way of handling the fonts may be the problem.
I did not have any problems printing the fraction from your doc, with either just the Regular installed or all of the fonts installed. Some of it may be the wacko way Affinity handles style-linking (wrong).īecause of the name issues inside the fonts, and the Affinity issues, the PDF library may be confused so it displays nothing.
